In our 2nd Quarter Newsletter, Alliance One announced our intentions to move our ATM mapping vendor from MapQuest to Bing Maps, so we could serve those on Internet Explorer 9 browser (IE9) that were not able to view MapQuest maps due to compatibility issues. In conjunction with our intended switch to Bing Maps, we were also working on developing a solution for IE9 users for the interim. We are pleased to say the solution we developed has effectively resolved the compatibility issue between IE9 users viewing maps in MapQuest on Allianceone.coop. As a result, this solution doesn’t require us to switch mapping providers, and we will not be moving to Bing Maps at this time.
