It seems that more and more Alliance One cardholders got app—the Alliance One ATM Locator app, that is. Since the start of 2014, we’ve seen a 75 percent increase in downloads from the Apple store (1514 downloads) and nearly 80 percent from the Google Play store (1341 downloads). Thanks to all of our participants who have hopped on the bandwagon and have been promoting this great resource for cardholders. While we are pleased with our progress, we know we have a lot more room to grow. Keep promoting the app, if you are already. If you’ve yet to promote the app to your cardholders, we encourage you to do so. In fact, we’ve created a print-ready mobile app promo kit to make it as simple as can be for your financial institution to get the word out. The kit includes:
- Posters to hang in your financial institution—on doors and in drive-thru windows
- Table tents to place at teller windows
- Statement stuffer announcements
- Web banners for your FI’s Web site
Cardholders can easily download the app from their phone’s app store or by scanning the QR code we’ve placed on the materials and/or on www.allianceone.coop/mobile-app. The app utilizes Google Maps technology to source a user’s current location or users can input a specific location. With one click, the app then finds the closest ATMs given their information. Once a user chooses which ATM works best for them, they can click “Directions” to open a list of directions. The app also includes the option for users to “Bookmark” their favorite ATMs. The bookmark feature will save the desired ATM(s) for the user so they can easily launch directions to that ATM from wherever they may be the next time they need some quick cash.
If you’ve yet to login or want to sign up new users, you can easily do so at anytime. Simply go to allianceone.coop and click on “FI Login.” Once on the “FI Login” page, click “Request Account” and complete the account registration information. Your information will be confirmed, and you’ll be registered on the site within two business days. Once you login to your account, you will see your financial institution’s dashboard. You can review and make any edits to your personal contact information under “My Account.” Additional details on how to use the site can be found in the Web site (FI) section of the “How to Quick Guide.”
